DIY Patriotic Glitter Paper & Burlap Garland for Mantle or Picnic

This DIY garland was easy to make and works great over my picnic table but would also be perfect to finish a patriotic mantle display.
I used:
2 different size craft paper punches to make a layered look (can be purchased at any craft store)
Red, white, and blue glitter paper in various patterns to add interest
Paper adhesive stars (which actually look like metal)
Strip of red burlap
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
I made 6 2 layer glitter paper medallions using the punches, glued the layers together, applied the star, then hot glued them to the burlap and hung the mantle over my picnic table for some patriotic flare!
