Creatively Living on Jun 22, 2013@Lynne , I would use the Buff Sander on anything but the paint. Then I would try getting the spray paint off by hand and with the buff. If those don't work, I would suggest buying a hand-held sander and using 80 grit sandpaper to get the paint off. It all depends on how much surface area the paint is covering and how thick the paint spots are. Yours probably aren't that thick, so I think the hand-held would work with an 80 grit. My paint is VERY thick, so I bought a hand-held belt sander and used 34 grit. It's truly trial and error with this stuff! Good luck on the sanding. I bet it will be beautiful!
