Do you ever have a hard time remembering what paint you used in your house? Maybe you have old paint cans stacked up in the garage, paint swatches hidden in your junk drawer, or heck, maybe you have NO clue what paint colors you used throughout your house. Fortunately, we have three easy (and free!) ways to help you organize your home's paint information so that you can easily refer back to it when the time comes.
1. Create a paint stick library using FREE paint sticks from the hardware store. Full tutorial here ---> http://thediyplaybook.com/2016/06/remember-homes-paint-colors.html
2. Create a electronic file of your paint selections as well as any important information that deserves a note. You can write all of this information on a sheet of paper with the color swatch and simply take a photo of it to save in your phone. We suggested some of paint info you may want to include in this post: http://thediyplaybook.com/2016/06/remember-homes-paint-colors.html
Write the paint color/information of that room BEHIND the outlet cover in that room. This way you will ALWAYS know where to find this information because it will hiding in plain sight. And since outlet covers are so cheap, you can easily buy a new one if you ever decide to repaint. =)
