No matter what time of year it is, kids are going to get bumps and scrapes that need a little tender loving care. Enter Homemade Ice Packs. You can make these any color you choose! Somehow it makes the boo boo's seem better!
Oh and these aren't just for little kids...Us BIG kids need these homemade ice packs too!

Simply gather up your supplies and begin! The kids could help you with this project also...but be careful that the rubbing alcohol doesn't splash around. Let them pour and pick out color!
You can make any size ice pack. For a small Ice Pack…
I double up my ziplock bags to make sure it doesn't leak.
That's it! Use as needed!
Works sooo good!

Carrie Lagrossa on Oct 22, 2016Just an FYI...I made these after I had knee surgery and they are great. Be warned however that they seem to get colder than other ice packs so don't leave them on your skin too long...or place some type of cloth between your skin and the ice pack or you may end up with frost bite in that area! My daughter used thenm too long and got frost bite on her leg.
