Displaying "natural Art" In Our Home

The more time my husband and I spend outside in and around the woods by our cabin, the more natural art we spot that we just have to display in our home!
My favorite pieces are from slices of logs that have been hollowed out naturally from ants. They leave quite intricate designs behind which we really appreciated once my husband made about two inch slices with his chain saw. Then we just brought them home, cleaned them up and put them on a stand which my husband fashioned out of a steel rod and another metal piece from the scrap yard. Before bringing any pieces inside we coat them with a layer of satin polyurethane to seal and protect and give them a nice finish.
