How to Make Seashell Chargers

I was hosting an alfresco dining event with a summer beach theme and was looking for the perfect chargers to set the table with. White seemed to be needed, but it didn't set the right mood, so I went to town with seashells and a glue gun!
I began with some of my old gold chargers that had gotten scratched up over the years. I used Krylon spray paint and painted them all a flat white.
After the paint had dried I dug out seashells and went to town trying them out around the edges of the chargers. Make sure you don't skip this step and just start gluing, you may be in for a surprise when you get to the end and don't have the right size shells to complete the edge.
After spacing them all out and making sure they will fit, it was time to begin gluing.
I used one type of shell on three of my chargers and different kind on the other three.
Here is a completed charger ready for the table to be set.
Here is my table, all set with my seashell chargers and my DIY napkin rings! Ready for a beachy summer dinner.
