Easy DIY Wall Art

I found this cute kitchen towel at Target. I just loved the colors, so I grabbed it up. Of course, it wasn’t a kitchen towel to me.
What I saw was an awesome piece of fabric!
Instead, I immediately thought of wall art for the kitchen. So, I purchased 2 canvases (this could also be done with wood or even cardboard if you are looking for a really inexpensive option).

The last time I checked these were out of stock at Target, but I really like (aff links) these cute farm animal towels! or there are lots of options on Etsy

This is what the towel looks like opened up all the way. It’s really large!!
I cut the fabric to the size I needed for each canvas and ironed it to get it as smooth as possible.
I glued the fabric to the canvas with decoupage. I did one half of the canvas at a time to keep my fabric lined up correctly. You could also try spray adhesive if you prefer.

I folded in the corners (kind of like wrapping a present). If you look closely, it’s certainly not perfect. The goal is not to stress over it…it’s supposed to be easy and fun!

Now I have really cute and inexpensive kitchen wall art!
