Peg on Jan 15, 2016If you think about it most pantries are to deep and inconvenient. With this in mind, I measured to large cans of enchilada sauce or three cans of green beans (about 9"). There was 12" of wall between the back and window jam. I bought a pantry cabinet at Home Depot for about $100. It comes in pieces that you put together. I cut the shelves and frame down to a 9" depth, put it together and added the doors that came with it. I slipped it into the 12" space, allowed for door clearance and painted it the same color as the walls. The only catch here is the finish on the cabinet. It needs a deglosser used before the paint.

NathanDavidson on May 12, 2016I can't stand how neat this pantry is! I could probably get all the little storage boxes to organize mine up, but I bet it'll be back to chaos within the next week once I bring in a load of groceries from the supermarket!
