Magical Moringa Tree

A wonderfully nutritious tree with leaves that taste bit like baby spinach. They can be added fresh to salads or to soups etc. A tea can be made from drying and crushing the leaves, which can then be put in a coffee plunger to get a very nutritious tea. Leaves are full of vitamins and nutrients. A new must for the veggie garden.

How very interesting. I'm going to research this, of course I need more "gardening" projects. LOL Undoubtedly this is native to South Africa, but one can never tell and it's a new one on me. ^-^

I have a friend who is growing a mini forest of Moringa trees right now, just because of the purported health benefits.

@Douglas Hunt I read the info on potential medical benefits with great interest. This type of alternative treatment i.e. using herbs and botanicals to treat some medical symptoms/issues seems to be growing in popularity among the general population. Sort of "everything old is new again", kind of thing.
