Chippy Blue Dresser to a Calm White Dresser

I just finished painting this dresser and I want to tell you how I did it!
And for those of you who ask if I “get a vision in my head of how something will look”? No.
In another room this piece would have been beautiful, but the “chippy” distressed pattern was just too much. It didn't go with my new gray carpet and gray walls.
Learn my FAVORITE go-to off white color that I paint everything in my full blog post. I slapped this paint on one drawer one morning while my entire family was sleeping.... A drop cloth may or may not have been used.
And then I sanded all the edges of the drawers and detailed areas. I sealed the dresser with my favorite water based topcoat, which is listed in my full blog.
And here is how the piece turned out. You can see more photos on my blog!
