Cardboard Lid Made Into Sunburst Memo Cork Board

This is the last part of three projects from one thrift store buy!
I had two cardboard lids left over from another project a hanging lamp made from the containers below I posted it here. The larger lid I made into a sunburst mirror and that is here. This is what I did to the smaller lid, the last part of three projects from one thrift store buy of $1.99!
I started with two lids.
The large one became a sunburst mirror and the small one was going to be a smaller version with less flames but at the last minute I changed it up.
Both large and small lids are the same until ...
this point.
But instead of a mirror I put in cork board with hot glue.
I then painted it gold and...
Added the gold rope with hot glue and I also put some gold wire mesh ribbon in gold to cover the ends of the rope meeting. Now I'm finished
All of the projects took about 2 days to make, not to bad on time.
I had everything for all three projects on hand except for the 3 containers with only 2 lids. I just love it when it all comes together like that!
