Have lots of vinyl scraps lying around from your Cricut or Silhouette projects? Then I have a fun fall project for you! Use them to decorate your pumpkins! I created this modern geometric pumpkin with vinyl scraps and a pair of scissors. Like this fun project? Then don't miss my favorite fall and Halloween crafts!
What You'll Need: Faux pumpkin, removable vinyl scraps, scissors, circle punch (optional), cutting machine (optional)
Such a unique beautiful pumpkin that you can enjoy year after year. Vinyl sticks perfectly to faux pumpkins and the design options are endless!
Step 1: Create a variety of geometric shapes such as squares, triangles, and circles with a pair of scissors and a circle punch. You can also use the grid on the back of the vinyl to cut strips to wrap around the pumpkin. Of course, you can use a cutting machine like a Cricut to create any shape you want as well! I prefer the old-school scissors method. :)
Step 2: Peel off the backing from the vinyl and place on the pumpkin. If you need to straighten its placement, you can carefully peel it off and reposition it. Have fun experimenting with different designs!
