Today's table is a fun Halloween look based on Halloween printables. I printed a sheet of each printable and cut them out. I put the cupcake toppers aside. I used a hole punch on the larger prints and hung them from a black chain that is mounted on 2 removable hooks. Don't you love them?
You could use cord, string or ribbon with hooks to hang the Halloween prints.
The centerpiece is based on a new vintage find - a milk glass hob nail pitcher of flowers with a plate of monster teeth munchies around a cute little witch.
Monster Teeth: I've seen similar treats online using marshmallows for teeth. I wanted something a little healthier and first used Macadamia nuts for the 2 front treats. The nuts aren't white so looks like my monster needs to have his teeth cleaned! I then switched to pumpkin seeds for the other munchies. Simple treat of apple slices, nut butter (peanut, almond or even a seed butter) and teeth. If you're making them ahead, glaze cut apples with a little lemon juice to prevent browning. The Macadamia nuts taste so good with nut butter and apples. I loved it.
The place setting has a black and white polka dot place mat from a 99 cent fat quarter from Walmart. Just turn the edges over and use iron on tape. The base is a white charger (Dollar Tree), black plates (Dollar Tree), and white saucers. Another treat is on the saucer,
Peel a Mandarin orange and make a small hole at top. Use a top of a celery stalk with a leaf. Push in hole at top to make pumpkin treat.
I personalized white mugs with small pumpkin cupcake topper printables and school glue. Use a toothpick to add a little glue on back. Press on mug. My favorite is the little pumpkin with a patch over his eye. I glued one on each side of the mug. It's not permanent. After party, put in a bowl or pot of water and after an hour, it floats off.
Mugs look really cute and can be personalized for any party.
The table is based on a white tablecloth covered with dollar store creepy cloth. I spread printables around the table to add color and fun. For more information see post at http://www.comfortspringstation.com/2017/10/23/fun-black-white-halloween-table/
