I was recently inspired by a Hometalker to make this Fall wreath for my door. After seeing how easy it was to make I was inspired to create a similar one for the winter.
Off I go to the Dollar Tree for supplies. Don't you just love the Dollar Tree for crafting? At the Dollar Tree I picked up the foam wreaths, Christmas Ornaments, and the branch of flora,
To start with I needed to cut up some strips of the fabric I was going to use. I wrapped the fabric around each foam wreath securing each wrap at the start and end with a shot of glue from the glue gun. I only burnt myself once I am happy to say.
I had originally thought to use some holiday ribbon. However, knowing I have a lot of scrap material I thought better of it. Come to find out I ended up using a lot more material than I had anticipated, I was happy that I listened to myself.
I glued each wreath ring to the next. I glued the string of the balls to the wreath above. I wanted to be sure that the glue would dry without separating so I tied them with ribbon. I decided to keep the ribbon on since I was planning to add more and it was hiding the string to the ball. I attached the sparkly decoration on top of the ribbon.

I added some holly looking flora to the top of wreath along with some dangling ribbon.

I decoupaged the letters JOY on the balls. The lettering became more of a nuisance each time the wreath moved so did the balls and the letters ended up in every direction so I ended up soaking the letters off.
I think it came out pretty nice. I gifted it to mom.
