FLOWERING TREES AND BUSHES FOR SPRING

Once spring begins it usually moves ahead at record speed. The grass greens up and the early flowering trees and shrubs take center stage. A well planned garden will have incorporated several flowering specimens placed in strategic sites. Douglas Hunt on Mar 29, 2014I'm a fan of Cornus "Stellar Pink," which is a hybrid of Cornus florida and Cornus kousa. It seems to have gotten the best attributes of both parents.
