A Tyro's DIY

Easy
I am, perhaps, the least handy person you've never met. But I know of the many benefits of DIYing, so I decided to ease my way into it… gently.
I got a Micke desk from IKEA and followed the directions carefully.
Oddly, they require you provide your own tools — except an Allen key. That they provide.
One boon was working with my kid, who learned righty tighty, lefty loosey, and how to avoid some basic injuries.
I know it's not much, but I feel accomplished.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Micke desk (IKEA)
- Hammer (don't remember)
- Screwdriver ('twas a gift)

Putting together IKEA sometimes is a challenge. Here many people advertise for someone to put them together for a fee. There are even websites that cater to assembly of IKEA furniture. You did a great job.
