Would you believe me if I said these adorable twine carrots are made out of the tissue paper you get when you buy glass from Marshals or TJ maxx???? Well they are! Seriously!
Starting with some grass like greenery I cut them down into the amount of carrots I wanted to make
Using scotch tape, I taped the ends of each greenery stem together
Add your greenery to your paper
Roll into a carrot shape. Start by rolling tightly at the bottom and loosely at the top to get the shape you need
Now that you have your Carrot shape tape it all together. I just started at the bottom and wrapped tape all the way to the top
Grab your Twine and glue gun. Glue your twine to the bottom of your carrot form. Once you glue into place start to wrap the twine upwards around the carrot form
Continue until you reach the top
Once you get to the top secure the twine with your glue gun. This is very important as it will unravel if you do not secure it well. Cut any remaining paper not covered with twine.
Now you have these cute twine carrots to add to your Easter decor. You can customize with paint or glitter or other crafting materials. I kept my twine colored to match my current home decor
