Sometimes you need to think outside the box to be able to create something special and something that not everyone will have in their homes. If it is done ona budget even better!! I like to do projects on the cheap (or free if I can), and this is a great example on how to create something for almost nothing. It is also super easy and you can get your kids involved in the process too. In this post I will show you how to create a beautiful, easy and fun spring project using some yarn and twigs from your garden!

Sometimes a photograph is easier to follow than text. Here is an easy step by step photograph on how to create a pom pom using a pom-pom making machine. If you don't have one of those, you can easily create pom-poms using some cardboard

I wanted to create a gorgeous spring décor and the pink pom-poms reminded me of a flower so I decided to pick some twigs from the garden. This also means, you don't need to purchase anything as you can pick these for free.

I then simply glued the pom poms using a hot glue gun on the twig and repeated the step to create an illusion of a flower/bloom on the twig. My spring décor was done - so easy, quick and cheap way to update for your home!

You can use any colours you like and mix and match your yarn to suit your interior.
