I'm on a mission to get organized this year but my budget for doing so is teeny tiny. So I've been looking for things to repurpose inexpensively to help me achieve my goals. I picked up this old wooden mug tree at the thrift store and envisioned it corralling some of my jewelry!
Does anyone still use mug trees in their kitchen? This guy needed to be cleaned up and spruced up, but was in great shape.
I sprayed it with my gold metallic spray paint and let it dry thoroughly. Then I added turquoise chevron washi tape to a few flat parts, just for fun.
I love the little pop of color the washi tape provides.
This is perfect for all my bangle bracelets and a few of my shorter necklaces. Load it up with jewelry and enjoy!
