I wanted to diffuse oils in my car, but I didn't want to spend money on a diffuser. So I made one with items from my craft room!
The first thing that I did was cut pretty scrapbook paper in the width of my clothespins. I used Mod Podge to glue the paper to the clothespin.
Next, I trimmed the paper as needed and sealed with a coat of Mod Podge on the top.
I used part of a piece of 12 x 12 cork board that I had in my craft room. I cut a strip of it the same width as my clothespins and about 1.5 inches long. I glued them on the end of the clothespin.
You can also use felt, but I had cork in my stash. I think they would be really cute with felt flowers, too. I found some really cute felt flowers that I have in the blog post.
I labeled the back of each clip with the oil that it's for.
Now add 1-2 drops of oils to the cork and clip to the vent in your car. When you turn on the heat or AC, the scent will flow through the car.
I like to use two of my favorite blends in the car. You can see what's in the blends and see more custom blends and oils that are great for traveling on my blog.

I wonder what would happen if you soaked the whole,or part of, the clothespin in the essential oil?

Have a question about this project?
Why did you mod podge the paper to the clothes pins. Really like the idea.
What was purpose of red paper?
My experience with essential oils is that you have to keep re-applying them in order for the scent to keep working. How long do you find that the scent lasts with these?
