These DIY glitter mason jars make the perfect weekend craft project! Come find out how Cait from made them.
Since glass is such a smooth, non-porous surface, it can be difficult for paint to adhere to, so Cait started by applying a coat of Clear Bonding Primer.
Next, she painted them in Peacoat, Full Bloom, Bliss, and Sunday Tea.
To apply the glitter, Cait taped off the bottom portion of her jars, then painted them with Image Transfer Medium and shook on the glitter.
Voila! You now have some adorable, easy-to-make glitter jars, perfect for storing everything from pens and scissors, to makeup brushes and kitchen utensils!
