So I was looking for a Chic new mirror but some of the major department stores have too high of a price tag on their mirrors and wreaths so I decided to make my own. First I headed to the Dollar Tree where I got all of my supplies with the exception of the paint.

I started by brushing Modge Podge on the entire foam wreath form. It just gave it an extra sticky base for the moss to stick to.
In the used all purpose glue to attach the reindeer Moss.
Here's the finished wreath! I was very happy with the results. I highly recommend letting it dry overnight.
I then lined up my poster board, my mirrors, and my garden fence on the top just to see what design I wanted.
I taped every mirror individually together.
I then put another layer of tape for extra sturdiness.
My next stop is I added poster board to the back. Without the poster board the mirrors would be very flimsy. During this time I also glued and taped the garden ladder to the top of the mirror and placed the poster board over it.
My final step for the back was adding another layer of tape to keep the poster board in place.
I've been used my paint to create a layered look using different colors.
I painted the garden fencing as well and then just distressed using my blending sandpaper.
I attached the wreath with jute rope.
Here is the final product! I am extremely pleased with it. Something like this in a big-box store would be well over $100. I had the paint here at home but all the other supplies cost a grand total of $10. Please check us out at Sierra Stars and Gifts on Facebook for more DIY ideas. The affiliate link for the paint I use is in the link below.
