So I have always loved the coastal shabby look 👀 but the cost of wood to do a whole wall would work out pretty expensive so I love to find a really cheep easy way to achieve same results :)
so I purchased 6 rolls of vynal adhesive at Kmart these cost $3 a roll ea h roll is 2 mertes x 45 cm wide
I went for the light graIn wood look to soften my room as it was usually quite a dark room
Here is my blank canvas ( wall ) cleaned and cob webs removed hHhha
I payed it o. The wall to get a idea of we’re to cut but I allowed a cm extra and I will trim that off later I used a credit card to smooth out air bubbles as I went it was just like contacting kids school books :) it also can peel off if you make a bubble to big and relay it can get fiddly on larger areas it may help to have a extra pair of hands to hold as the other person scraps it on
The little bits you have are easy to trim off using a cutting knife
Then peel the excess away and your left with a nice straight edge
Here is my finished feature wall it probably took me 2 hours in total
in loving my new look bedroom it has lightened it up and given me a nice fresh coastal look now adding some decorative pieces now my next step is to shabby chalk paint the bedroom suit but that will be a whole new post :) enjoy

You did a great job. Really looks nice. I have been thinking of doing this but with wallpaper that you have to put water to activate the glue. How hard was it to work with the peel and stick? It is forgiving? Thanks!! :)
