DIY Kitchen Remodel on a Tight Budget

Our kitchen remodel took 6 months to complete (while we had a 4 month old baby!) and we did almost all of the labor ourselves. With no formal training, we tackled each project as they came along. The final cost of the entire remodel came down to under $3,500!

Before: brown, brown, and more BROWN. It was very closed in and dated.

After: a light, bright & open space! By painting the existing bottom cabinets & replacing the upper cabinets with open shelving, we were able to maximize the space.

Your kitchen looks so much more open. I think that the white looks a lot cleaner. This is a really neat room addition and make over. http://www.stritarconstruction.com/

What an improvement !!! I am personally not a friend of shelving in the kitchen because of the grease build-up but I have to say you chose the perfect decoration to set them up and they look not cluttered. Well done !
