Enjoy the Ride Map Art

What is the ride? I see it as our journey through life. We maneuver through the twists and bumps along the path. For some, it's straight and even. For others, it's a roller coaster of ups and downs. For most, it's a combination.
Here's some fun wall art to remind us to live in the moment.
Here's some fun wall art to remind us to live in the moment.
I bought an old map of the Deep South at an antique store.
After unfolding the map, I used the glass from an 11x14 frame to decide what area I wanted to use. Then I cut the map to fit the frame.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the wording and image out of black scrapbook paper then I used Mod Podge to glue it to the map.
After it was dry, I inserted it into the frame. Bonus: I found this frame on clearance at Michael's!
The finished product was photobombed by a sweet puppy!

Carol Turner on Jan 02, 2015My Granddaughter and my two Grandsons race BMX bikes. This would be good for their rooms. Maybe pictures of their trophies in the background.
