No Sew Faux Roman Shade

In the process of brightening up my kitchen, I decided to change out the blinds and create a faux roman shade-one that actually works! It just doesn't have all the strings to go along with it :)
The shade is hung from the valance of the blinds and the folds are created with ribbon and command hooks
Here's the before. Super dark!
To get the look, hem all the sides with stitch witchery, or use your sewing machine. Place the valance or a rod inside the top fold.
And to hang, use your valance from the blinds and to create the folds, place some command strips on the window and hang the ribbon. You can then change where you hang the ribbon or not hang it at all so the shade covers the whole window. For me details on the tutorial:

I like this better than the darker one.
