Everyone needs a good coaster! Use up your leftover tiles to make marble coasters. This tutorial will walk you through all the steps to make your own DIY tile coasters! Bonus: they make great DIY Christmas gifts.

I had of tiles leftover form a renovation project. After thinking more about it and staring at the 4 inch hexagon tiles, they are really the perfect size for DIY tile coasters!

Here's the super easy steps:

-Remove backing from tile.

-Apply sealer to tile

-Trace tile on cardboard

-Measure 1/4 in on all sides

-Cut shape out of cardboard

-Trace on felt and cut out

-Glue felt to tiles

Note: Let the glued felt dry entirely before stacking the tiles.

They make great gifts too!

If you’re stumped on what to do with your leftover tile from renovation projects, DIY tile coasters are a great option. They are SO easy to make and they make great Christmas gifts. A bunch of my family members are getting some for Christmas this year!!
