Jewelry Storage
I admit...I am obsessed with costume jewelry and have a love for beads and sparkles. When I saw this old map storage chest with its deep thin drawers...I knew I had to have it and had the perfect DIY in mind!
I loved the old well-loved look of the outside, but wanted to spiff up the inside just a tad. I had about a half a roll of high-end wallpaper in a deep navy blue with a velvety embossed texture that was perfect for lining the drawers.
I trimmed the paper to fit the drawers and then proceeded to line each, tacking the sides and corners with a heavy double stick tape.
The end-result is a storage masterpiece for all of my costume treasures!
