Today I want to show you how I keep my rings organized in this simple DIY ring holder box tutorial. If you love jewelry, organization and (easy) DIY projects, this is for you! And now, let's get started!
To make your own ring holder box you will need:
- 1 box of your preference
- 1 hand towel or cleaning cloth
- 1 pretty piece of fabric (thin material, for example silky)
- A pair of scissors
- Glue
- All your rings
Step 1
Cut the cleaning cloth in long strings the width of the box you chose in order to make the ring rolls. Make sure that the ring rolls are thick enough to hold in place your rings, but not too thick so that their height is higher than the box itself. (for this box I prepared 7 ring rolls)
Step 2
Once you have your 7 pieces of cloth, roll them and fit them inside the box to make sure the width is appropriate. You shouldn't leave spaces between the ring rolls, otherwise, the ring will not hold in place.
Step 3
Take the other piece of fabric, the pretty one, to wrap the ring rolls. You have to cut the fabric so that you can easily wrap each roll. Glue both fabrics together and cut the excess of fabric on the sides to ensure the wrapped roll fits inside the box.
Step 4
Repeat the process with all your little ring rolls until your box looks like the one in the picture above. (you can choose to glue the ring rolls to the box to ensure they won't move an inch)
Step 5
Last step! Place all your rings inside! Doesn't it look amazing?
