Save various sizes of boxes and cut to the depth of our drawer. Bottoms of cereal boxes make great narrow long dividers. I've even covered in contact paper to make them look a little nicer.
Small tension rods can also be used.

You can buy glass containers with lids and fill up a drawer with them side by side for a tight fit, add your stuff and write on the lids to what each one holds

I made some from thin craft wood that I nailed together. One is just T-shaped to divide my utensils and knives. Another is almost E shaped. For my desk, I'm using small boxes instead.
