Cyndi: Check if the fabric is washable. Wash on gentle... maybe after a presoak. I would not put them in the dryer. Just dry flat.

Cyndi.....I would attempt to clean. We like Blue Magic from Auto Zone and it has cleaned several different fabrics quite well for us. If is does not work...I would buy material and reupholster. Good luck
Cyndi...can you send a picture so we can see it please? I reupholstered an antique stool my aunt brought me from Holland and l believe the piping had a loose place and one day l just peeled it off and bought a replacement that looked really nice. Anyway the picture may help with ideas. Thanks
Huh.....not familiar with that but thanks for info

Try a hefty scrub brush and oxiclean!
If they’re removable, you can wash in the washing machine. If not, spot clean with a household cleaner
You could clean your self with upholstery shampo spray on rub with a brush then when dry vacuumed
Hi Cyndi,
You could re-cover them or paint them with a chalk paint and then wax to finish. You could maybe decoupage over them or buy stretch covers...........
I imagine you could do both. To use dye, it will depend on what the fabric composition is but consult with an upholstery company for definitive answer.
To maintain it being clean I have a soft cushion that you can just also buy from the department store and it is meant to cover a chair. It is just really thin but with a foam inside so you don't have to clean the actual chair and just throw the cover inside the washing machine.
