Use a special broadleaf herbicide containing either tricolpyr or dicamba on Creeping Charlie that has taken over your lawn—these chemicals will kill Creeping Charlie without harming your grass.
If your yard is not too large, just dig them out by hand. Many of the chemicals used can be dangerous for children and pets. Every time I go out with the pets in the yard, I have my handy tools ready. Spent 10 or 15 minutes digging them out. Never have to spend a Saturday weeding.
I also suffered with Creeping Charlie! At one point, two thirds of my lawn was taken over. I tried everything under the sun. I finally tried Spectracide Weed and Feed in the hose end sprayer. No mixing and no mess. Spray the lawn down with no rain scheduled for the next few days. Killed the Charlie and he lawn came back stronger than ever. I still get some Charlie coming back every so often, so I pull out what I can and spot spray it along with other weeds as general maintenance.

As stated, pulling up or killing it with a herbicide. Whatever you do, don’t cut it and discharge it. That will cause it to spread. You can cut with a bagger to keep under control until you can eradicate.
