Is it suppose to look like this?
Concrete guys finished about 1 hour ago but the slab looks streaky, not just in color, but more importantly, texture. Is this expected? Was expecting a more smooth finish.
EDIT: Thanks guys! Your answers were helpful! It is finished and we are loving our new patio.

Jessica: I think it'll be just fine! (If it was ULTRA smooth... it would be slippery when wet!)
I agree with Nan, ours had a bit of texture to it, but if you're not happy after a few days, I'd contact your concrete guys.
I think it is expected and I agree with Nan, it's probably to keep it from being slippery.
I agree with what everyone is saying. You want the texture to keep it from becoming very slippery
If you wanted smooth they would have done it smooth. Some broom swept texture is basically to prevent slipping. If your not happy with it call them back.
I agree about the texture preventing a slippery surface. This looks nice in your picture, and it's a much neater job than the contractor I hired did on my property!
Yes, for outdoor use, they always leave it textured. If you have concrete guys put in a slab for indoors, then they can do smooth. It's an extra step of grinding, smoothing and polishing.
You'd have to ask them about it, but I personally like it!
Ours looked just like this when it was done and we've never had a problem with it.
That’s how they fix nigh concreat you should have told them you wanted a smooth finish call them and ask them what could be done
This looks like what is referred to as a "broom finish" on concrete- very normal!
This is normal unless you requested the concrete to be smoothed.
it looks good ... that is nice leathered look
