Felt Flower Coasters
Protect your surfaces in style with these fun & colorful felt flower coasters. Whether you are sitting in the backyard watching the kids play or hosting guests, these are sure to brighten up any situation. They also make the cutest housewarming gift, just add a ribbon!
Pull out your felt or grab some the next time you're out shopping.
Trace a circle onto your felt and cut out. Cut out flower shapes, larger than your circles. You will need one of each for each coaster.
Using embroidery floss and a needle, stitch the circle to the center of the flower. Be sure to add the leaves underneath the flower petals.
These took me about 10 minutes to make each one, so they are perfect for anyone who likes quick and easy crafts.
How adorable are these? I love how they turned out and can't wait to show them off the next time I have company!
If you have small pieces of felt, you can cut out individual flower petals and it's a great way to use up small felt scraps.
These would be adorable for a tea party, birthday party or "just because" you like to add a touch of whimsy to your life.
These look adorable tied up with a ribbon, don't they? Be sure to make a couple sets of these because your friends or family will definitely want some of their own.

How do you keep the felt from "bleeding" when condensation etc. makes it damp/wet. It can stain any porous serfaces, wood, stone, formica and more.
