Be careful with Denatured alcohol. It will also strip off the finish if it has a shellac base to it.

I just use a warm soapy cloth!
Alcohol will take paint off it your cabinets are painted. Right now it is extremely hard to get alcohol. If they are really greasy, use TSP or Purple Power from Walmart. You need a good cleaner degreaser not alcohol.
Use Dawn dish soap and warm water. It will do just as good a job and cost a lot less.
Actually, I have no interest in cleaning my cabinets. My curiosity got the better of me when I glanced at from $ store, mixed with a tiny bit of Dawn blue. There is something in that formula that has an amazing effect. Ovens, stove tops, windows, pots and pans etc., then dried with a microfiber cloth.
So when I saw the headline about using alcohol I wondered how and why try something so obviously damaging to the wood.
I sincerely appreciate how very quickly and thoroughly you have answered my question, and also how knowledgeable you are.
May God share his greatest blessings with your homes.
