How can I prevent my "full of yard waste" paper bags from the rain?
I don't have any place to store them once full, inbetween biweekly pick-ups. My yard is large, many bags, and not in a position to fully compost yet. Thanks!!!
I would store them in one of the containers.
I just stack them in a small basket.
You can put them all inside one tupperware
Might you have room somewhere in the kitchen to hang one of these clip hangers? (They are generally sold for drying small laundry items, but I have seen them used for hanging other small things, - craft tools, papers, etc.)
I bought a clear storage container at the dollar store they come in tons of sizes and have mine lined up in there so I can pull out what I want and see what is in there
Thank you all. I should have been more specific. These range in diameter from 4 to 14 inches and are the older, less pliant type: they look like flowers and lily pads. I now have them stacked, along with bowl cozies, in a tray on top of microwave. Very small kitchen with no extra drawers or cabinet space. The tray works ok, just always looks messy and I use these a lot. Thank you all for any ideas.
Could you try standing them up or would hey flop over? You could try something like you use for envelopes (that has little dividers) and store them upright.
Here's the way I keep them now, but somehow doesn't seem so messy in this pic. Thank you for your help, again.
Hello. Depending upon the size sometimes you can find organizational bins or folder holders and stationery department that are helpful for kitchen storage.

Food Storage Container Organization Solved
Hi Seacrow,
Seems to me you could store them in a Bag in a Box or a rack etc. Good luck!
I have them and I keep them in the closet in a decorative enamelware pot with a lid.
I have mine in a large basket, like a filing system.
Okay... none of the answers here are helpful to my question. My question is:
How do I store those stretchy, floppy, silicon lids?
I got my first set at the dollar store ... they had little holes in the tabs so I put a hook on the inside of a cupboard door. that works. They were cheap and tear so I got some nice ones ... .... NO HOLD TO HANG THEM WITH. I'm thinking silicon may be resistant to heat.... It doesn't puncture with a fork tine well that's sure! It tears. they're sticky by nature and therefore not good for flat storage....
ideas?
Get one of those plastic file holders and keep them in that the hard plastic kind.
Hey Stanlee, I could see the cloths-pin like clips grasping your lids, why wouldn't that system work for you? Maybe no place to hang them?
Stack them flat in a drawer or cabinet, or hang them using clips or hooks. If you want to keep them tidy, you can roll them up and use a rubber band to hold them together.
We recommend rolling them up (similar to the way they come in the box) so they avoid puncture damage from potential sharp things around your kitchen.
A clear or wire basket should work well. Just choose one in a size that will hold them with a bit of space to spare.
