Can I alter queen size bottom sheet to full size?
Recently acquired several good quality queen sheet sets. I have a full size bed. Was wondering if there’s an “easy” way to do something with the fitted bottoms so I could use them on my bed.

It would depend on your seamstress level because queen is 7" longer and 5" wider than full. Without permanently altering, I found this article that looks like would be worth trying:

You can buy clips with elastics that will pull the corners together. You put them under the mattress. That would be easy!

The very easiest way is to buy sheet suspenders at Walmart or Joanns. No sewing involved. And they are very inexpensive.

Thank you !l
You could use safety pins, but the elastic is not going to be easy to move.
Hello 516maria, you can do this without sewing, The top sheet requires no special treatment when using a queen sheet on a full bed; simply tuck in the excess material. When making the bed, line the top of the sheet up as far as you'd like it to go toward the head of the bed, almost reaching the top. Tuck in the excess material on the sides and foot of the bed.
Hello,
Yes, Cut a strip of another sheet and insert it in the middle. Make it a design feature by using a pattern maybe. Top stitch either side to secure rough edges underneath. Look even better if you added a touch of the same fabric to pillowcases too.
Thank you all. Unfortunately, good Will is not taking any bedding. I can’t bear to throw perfectly good, almost new items in the trash that’s why I’m trying to make use of them .
