The E-6000 will hold them on but if you plan to reuse those cabinets it might be hard to remove the knobs that are glued on. Most all drawer/cabinet knobs come with screws to use. I would go to Hobby Lobby or some craft type store and buy plain wooden knobs very inexpensive to use. https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/how-to-make-diy-drawer-pulls-apartment-therapy-tutorials-216669
If you know where you want to place the new ones and don't mind the look of it, you could just use long screws. If you want them cute, glue a button or something you pick up cheap at Dollar Tree. I believe E-6000 would be a great adhesive. I've been shocked at how well it has worked on some of our projects and help for years.
You can buy knobs for $1 on clearance or in a “project pack” (bulk). Your time and materials are worth more than $1!
Or buy the knobs/pulls you want for your new kitchen now and take them off and re-use them for your new kitchen, in 7 months.
Here's a link that has some different ideas. Could you not use the same holes you have in the cabinets for knobs?
I would check Amazon, you can often get really cheap knobs in bulk there and, yes, epoxy or a gorilla glue would probably hold them on for the time being.
Check amazon!
You can make diy knobs out of a multitude of things. I would not glue them on unless you plan on never re-doing those cabinets but plane to replace the cabinetry. Here's some ideas, either way that may inspire you to think of even othe objejcts to use.

Here are some I made to give you an idea. https://uniquecreationsbyanita.com/resin-door-knobs/
I would for sure use some big wooden balls but pictures of your cabinet would be super helpful.
H Linda,
You could use Bottle corks (Champagne if you have them). Block of wood. Anything you could fit a screw into the back of. Cupboard door knobs are not expensive to buy either!
Good luck.
I would make the handles so that you can put a screw in them to secure them to your cabinets.
No doubt there are a ton of ideas on Hometalk for making some. Try the search bar at the top left. As for installing, you'll need to screw them through but you can use an epoxy glue to hold the knob to the hardware.
