Hi Pat, I think these are mud dauber nests. They don't sting you and we just get a putty knife and scrap them away.

Mud dauber (or "mud wasp" or "dirt dauber") is a name commonly applied to a number of wasps from either the family Sphecidae or Crabronidae that build their nests from mud. Mud daubers belong to different families and are variable in appearance. Most resemble long, slender wasps about 1 inch (25 mm) in length.

I agree that it looks a lot like a mud dauber wasp nest. Here is an article to help:

we get them all the time. Spray them with insect spray to kill the bugs. Then you can smash up the nest. They are just made from mud.
Yes, we call them dirt daubers around here as well. Just a good clean off should take care of it. Good luck!
Looks like you have Mud Daubers. Use wasp spray.
Hello. That looks like a mud dauber nest. We just used to scrape it down with a stick or putty knife. We used to get them all the time underneath our pt deck.

Yes, spray with wasp killer hand have an exit route planned in case they come after you.
I think you have mud daubers. They really dislike the smell of peppermint. Try spraying the area with a combo of water and eppermint oil for several days in a row and see if they leave. Then you can clean up the mess they've left.

We had this on our patio! My husband sprayed with wasp spray, waited a day or two and then he knocked it off with a broom handle.
I had persistent mud dauber wasps who built a nest on my balcony ceiling. After being knocked down with a broom.... two days later they started building a nest again. After the third time of knocking it down, they gave up. Spraying the nest first is a good idea,
Thank you
Those are mud daubers, a type of wasp nest. I. I just take a scraper and knock them off. Make sure there are no builder wasps around or you will get stung. They don't like the smell of peppermint or ammonia. So I spray with whatever I have around.
I see to the right a bunch of spider webs the other looks like debri. Try krud kutter
