Hi, What is the stain? If it is rust, you could use CLR-calcium, lime, rust, available at diy stores and big box stores like Walmart.
A general rule is barkeeper's friend for scrubbing. If the stain is something specific, that would be good to know. I purchase a rechargeable scrubbing brush which has been a great help in the bathroom. I also found a product "wet & forget shower" that has been a lifesaver in keeping my tub clean (not recommended for marble, safe for all other surfaces).
It depends on what your tub is made of but for really hard core stains The Works toilet bowl cleaner has never let me down.
Try a paste of peroxide and baking soda. Rub it on and leave it, then scrub and rinse away.

It depends on what your tub is made of - Magic Eraser might be a good start.
If your tub is fiberglass do not use a Magic Eraser- it will make fine scratches on the but. I would make a paste out of bar keepers friend. Put it on, and let it sit for a while. Then with a non scratch pad clean it off. Do not use bleach as it will yellow the tub
If stains are rust, I'd try CLR.

Lavender Pine Sol works for me!
Hello Yvonne. You could make a bathtub cleaner paste of one part hydrogen peroxide to two parts baking soda. Rub the paste on the stain and let set for 30 minutes to one hour. Then wipe and rinse. If necessary, repeat until the stain is gone.
Hello Yvonne,
What is the Bath made from. Acrylic, Cast Iron, Enamel etc. What is the stain, Grime build up or other?
soft scrub or bar keepers friend. Bon Ami is great too!
I would try using peroxide and baking soda first. Check out this article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thekitchn.com/hydrogen-peroxide-baking-soda-uses-23043241%3famp=1

Bleach!
Hello again,
I have Acrylic Bath and never use anything else except Washing Up Liquid. Fill the Bath and Enjoy! Step out and slip on Bath robe. Squirt in Washing up Liquid! Use Old Face Cloth ( on to which you squirt W/Up Liquid). Rub around the Tide line in circles. Leave and get on with drying and dressing. Return to the bath and repeat process. If stain is stubborn, could try Toothpaste on the cloth. Repeat cleaning in circles then with W/Up Liquid. Circle around with the Bath Water and Pull the Plug. Rinse with Clean Water and then Drain and buff dry with wettest towel. Put Towel and Cloth in the washing. This may not remove it all in one go, but if this method is repeated every time the bath is used it will do the trick! When Clean - same method only not so much W/Up Liquid on cloth and only do it once to keep it that way!
Best wishes.
Hi Yvonne, hope this helps you out. Combine 2 parts vinegar and 1 part water in a spray bottle and spray the entire bathtub. Allow this soaking solution to sit in the tub for 15-20 minutes. For tough stains: place a towel soaked in a vinegar and baking soda paste or hydrogen peroxide onto the stain(s) and allow the towel to sit for up to 1-hour.
