They do look more like plums, especially since there's no true core, like a pear would have. Reach out to your local Cooperative Extension. They'll be very familiar with the fruits that grow in your area.
Depending on your zone etc it looks a bit like a clementine to me.

Looks like a mango tree to me.
That's a Paw Paw tree and immature fruit.
That looks like a PawPaw tree. The fruit will taste slightly like a banana and a pineapple mixed together when it is ripe. Definitely not a kumquat.....
