DIY Pantry
When my husband and I moved into our new place, we didn’t have a pantry like we did in our last rental.. so we needed to make something work! This is by far the most practical pantry I have had.
Plywood
2X4s
and MDF boards
2X4s and plywood used for the frame.
2 plywood shelves and two MDF board shelves
The door was made of trim and MDF boards. With heavy duty shelf shutting hinges.
I taped off where I didn’t want the paint to touch.
I used valspar chalk paint from Lowe’s
My kids love chalk! So I felt this was a good way to use up the space on the pantry! I also love the use for groceries and to do lists.
The quality of this chalk paint is amazing! I’m super impressed! I would recommended the Lowe’s valspar chalk paint brand!! And I used a roller to apply the paint.
I wanted this pantry to accommodate big bags of flower, and Costco boxes of bulk items ! It could definitely be more organized, but for me it never stays organized long lol.
