Aluminum cans: is there a good way to remove the printing?
I have several projects using aluminum cans. Other than sanding is there a good way to remove the printing so it is shiny on both sides?

Hi Betty, depending on how durable the plastic is a flat razer blade and goo be gone has always done the trick for me. Just be gentle with the razer blade :) If that doesn't work nail polish remover is acetone based and works really well in removing just about anything I would just be careful with it, it may mar the finish of the plastic.
Try peanut butter. The oil in releases the adhesive.

I usually start by soaking it in warm soapy water. If that doesn’t work - goo gone.
Remove as much of the sticker you can. Use either Goo Gone or WD40 to remove the residue. Don't use nail polish remover or anything with solvents as they can mar the plastic surface
