You can paint it - a scene you like or paint it to look like and old door. I've also seen them replaced with screen doors with fancy woodwork.
You can handle a nice handle to create a barn door style.

I had a plain white pantry door and we painted it a light aqua color and it just changes the look of my kitchen - here are more ideas
here are more ideas:
Hi Tessa, you could use chalk baord paint and turn the door into a chalkboard. You could add a trim in paint around the outside (to mimic a frame and then paint the rest of the door with chalkboard paint and use it for notes, menus, reminders etc...
I don't know what it looks like now, but you can add trim to the outside. Another option is to get a nice glass panel to inset into the door.
Since we don't know what it looks like it is kind of hard to guess what to do with it. If it has inserts or recessed panels you may be able to cut them out and add chicken run wire to make it look farmhouse. You could add trim, look at the stock at your local Home Depot for ideas. Some are carved, rope design etc.
Add a pantry decal to it and paint it a fun accent color like red.

Panel it by using trims, Add a small glass window. Best wishes
Paint it and get a pantry decal or check out this Pinterest page for 10 different looks. I personally like the idea of putting a big clock on the door. Or painting part of it with chalk paint for your grocery list.
