Hi Norma, some older drawers can benefit from some light sanding to help them slide better. After that I've found for mine that the best solution is petroleum jelly :)
Rub soap or a candle on the rails. Cheap easy and quick!
You can use a bar of soap to "grease up" the slides
If it’s when sliding in and out try rubbing beeswax on it.

Wax on the edges and the rails they slide on should work. All you need is a candle!
Rub soap or candle wax on the rails. If they have drawer slides spray the rollers with WD40
1 bare surface of wood is rubbing against another bare surface. the drawers need a lubricant to help them glide easily, candle wax, a bar of soap, carnuba wax (automobile section), or the paraffin from wax paper.
Hello Norm,
Try Talc on the runners or Carbon from a Pencil etc. If that fails to do the trick, maybe the drawers will have to be adjusted a bit. Wax is also useful on runners. Best wishes.
I am told baby powder sprinkled on the floor in the cracks stops many creaks. Sprinkle liberally so it works in to he cracks then wipe off excess with a damp rag. Don't use a sweeper for a few days to let it settle in the cracks and prevent the wood and or nails from rubbing. they also make nails you can nail and break the heads off so they don't show on the top of the flooring. You can use them thru carpeting as well.
I would suggest using soap on the drawer runners perhaps a candle if you do mot have bar soap. Hope this helps
I rub a candle on the parts of the drawer that rub. It works great!

You can apply WD40 to the drawer slides and hardware.
use w40 for that
Olive oil! Just dab a little on there and squeak be gone. I use it on my kids bedroom door and works like a charm!
