Hall Bench From Leftovers
Upper kitchen cabinets work great for just about any storage you might need. If you remove the doors you can paint the inside a different color for fun open shelving. They also make a great sturdy table / desk / island base.
What rooms were you considering to put the cabinets in?
depending on where you will use the cabinets but you could remove the doors and add contact paper or wallpaper to give the inside of the cabinets a fun look and then hang in the laundry room, garage, bathroom, etc.

Hello. When we did a kitchen renovation we need some cabinetry into the garage. It was very much appreciated repurposed storage.
We moved ours to the shed for tools.
Hello there,
Why Not use them where you need storage - Anywhere, just fit and decorate to suit if necessary.
Are you asking if you should take down your unused kitchen cabinets and use them in other rooms? I would think so! You could add one in your bathroom or laundry room for storage!
I think they would work well in a basement, garage or laundry room. Good luck!
They can also be used in nearly any living space. This article shows how kitchen cabinets were used in a family room and in an office, among other places: https://www.familyhandyman.com/list/8-ways-to-reuse-your-old-kitchen-cabinets/

I think the possibilities are endless!
You could take them down to use in other places
Paint and change hardware to look less like kitchen cabinets. I have one in a bathroom. You can also add stencils on the door.
Sure, you can definitely do that. You can even paint or sand and re-stain to change up the colors.

Hi! That's what I did in my bathroom and laundry room when we remodeled the kitchen. I took the doors off, used nice bins for storage and painted them gray. I've enjoyed the setup for years. Good luck and stay safe!
