We’re not sure if you guys have seen this new black window Craze, But it’s coming at everybody and hard. We actually looked into swapping our windows even though our house is only about 12 years old and the price is astronomical. But we have a dupe for you today We hope you love it.

As you can see here we have grids inside of our double paned windows that are white so clearly impossible to paint. This is where your electrical tape comes in. Just standard electrical tape you’re going to line your grids with to cover them as shown above

Next is pretty simple, you’re going to use any black paint that you have on hand and go ahead and just do the trim of your windows. It will take a few coats. I was actually really nervous to do this because I didn’t know how the paint would hold up or take to the vinyl windows but I have to say it one on beautifully and I didn’t even have to tape around it because our simple razor blade will take any paint that you mess up and get on the glass right off

Here is an up close picture of the windows painted. Again they will most definitely need two coats and then you may have to touch up, but all in all, I painted all 13 windows in my house over the course of the weekend rather painlessly. I think for me the biggest thing was thinking it would be such an undertaking and it wasn’t! I’m mad I didn’t do it sooner because I’m absolutely in love with how they came out

they looks soo good And they have held up really well over the last six weeks. I have no complaints and I urge anybody to take the plunge

Such a crisp look against the white walls and trim.

How did you paint the top windows lower trim? I want to do this to my windows but since I like to open them I don’t want to see the beige.
