Is it the hardware at the top that’s squeaking? Or is the door itself rubbing on the sides?
Here is link for problems with pocket doors, the squeak if probably coming from the rollers on top of it:

Hello Shirley
Try Spray Polish on the Metal components! or WD - 40!
Hello. Have you tried a household lubricant like WD-40?
I found this for you, Shirley...

Zep has a white lithium with teflon lubricant in a spray can. It is plastic safe (that is assuming your inner workings are plastic). You use the "straw" tube to get it up in the area. Perhaps you might want to remove the removable stop at one side on the head to get access. Spray the center of the wheels and the track.......and any other moving parts you can get at.
look at the mechanism that opens and closes it - and spray some WD40.
Hi Shirley, hope this helps you out,

Good old WD 40 does the trick, spray it on the tracks and move the door back and forth
If the squeak is from the bracket/track at the top, I would squirt some powdered graphite in there and move it back and forth a few times
A drop or two of WD-40 on the track.
I agree with those that say a bit of WD-40 although, I can't stand that oily smell so I use olive oil on the pocket doors that surround my kitchen. Does the trick.
