You could pick up a special tv hanging bracket. Then you could attach that to the stone. The trick will be how to hide the cords?
Hello Carolyn,
You would need to even up the wall by adding a timber piece to cover the lower part or parts , then fix your brackets into the fire place wall through the timber. Best wishes
Assuming the frame of the TV is black, you'll need a flat board to lay on the stones to create an even surface. If you want it to match, then paint it black. Maybe you'll need some hardware too depending on how you want to attach it and where. https://amzn.to/2NNQHpm Do you have a picture so we can better visualize it?
I think the easiest solution is the swivel mount bracket that allows you to tilt, turn it 90 degrees or even pull the screw further out into the room. Amazon has a good choice where I have gotten ones for clients.. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=tv+mounting+brackets+for+flat+screens&ref=nb_sb_noss
or another solution would be to build a wooden cabinet to either frame the TV or have some doors to hide it... https://www.pinterest.com/pin/618541330047516586/ you could add a couple threaded bolts into the fireplace stone with a hammer drill and epoxy them in to mount the cabinet, then mount the TV inside by using the back of the TV mounting brackets.
Hi! We usually mount TVs on the type of mount where you can move it up, down and angle it. They aren't expensive, and make it much easier if you want it to be adjustable. Most fireplace mounts are too high for me to enjoy. Good luck!
add a shelf or wood mantle piece to sit the TV on or attach it to
