Hanging baskets?
Can anyone help me to find CHEAP plastic hanging planters ? I have searched all over, Depot, Lowes, Dollar Tree..etc. I want to be able to plant the flowers I want, not the ones sold at the store. Thank you !

Have you tried a local nursery? They might sell you an empty basket.
I would check your local goodwill. This time of year a lot of people are doing spring cleaning. You could call them first to check to see if they have any hanging planters.
Try Wal-Mart, Target, Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Ross or any local nursery.
You could try thrift stores or a Habitat Restore. Also check the "free" section on Craigslist or your local Buy Nothing Facebook group,
Try going with something unusual like a colander and fruit baskets.
look online at Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc and you can usually order them very cheap even Amazon has them
You could try flea markets, 2nd hand stores, or create your own using a plastic colander, some mesh stuffing and a clean baby diaper (plastic side out)...fill with dirt and plant...make your choice of attached cords. A coat hanger top or a shower curtain hook would also work. Happy planting.
Hi Madeline, walmart sells these, but maybe consider a hanging garden planter in lieu of the pots,

Hi, Look for second hand baskets in Market places or Thrift shops etc.
These are less than $6.00 each and available at Home Depot: https://rstyle.me/+PjooINVINTtBcP9nhmzXgQ
Hello. You might consider thrift stores or garage sales in addition to the discount retail venues. I purchased a second hand collection of gorgeous planters and spray painted them to unify the colors.
You can order them online from Dollar Tree if your stores are out.
Hi Madeline, here's a few DIY ideas you can try - https://www.countryliving.com/gardening/garden-ideas/g31099883/how-to-make-hanging-planter/
Just google "Gardners Supply" in your area. There must be some place that has some. Or put a ask online for old ones.....
